You leave in the morning to Pisa, where you will have time to admire the magnificent cathedral, the baptistery, the monumental cemetery and the famous Leaning tower of Pisa. Add Leaning Tower tickets to your experience. Afterwards, we'll move in a Typical Winery in the Chianti Hills, on the slopes of San Gimignano, where we will enjoy a light lunch with a wine tasting of 3 Wines. After lunch you discover, San Gimignano where you can explore the maze of cobbled streets, small squares and many local craft stores. Our exciting day continues with a panoramic view of the true Chianti countryside before arriving in Siena, where our professional guide will let you discover the most important squares, from Piazza del Campo to the Cathedral passing through the most beautiful ‘Contrade’ that characterize this city. At the end of the guided tour, you will have free time to enjoy a cup of coffee or the Pan Forte (the typical local cake) and have some shopping in typical local shops.

See for miles over the beautiful Tuscan countryside on a 1-hour hot air balloon flight, taking place from the village of San Casciano in Val di Pesa. Our experience starts in Florence Santa Maria Novella Central Station where you will meet and we will help you buy the train tickets to San Miniato. The train ride to San Miniato will take 40 minutes. The name of our farm is Agriturismo Tenuta Chiudendone. Upon arrival, we'll walk around the estate so you can see our vineyard and olive grown. We'll visit the gardens to gather ingredients for our lunch, which we'll prepare together. You'll find out how traditional Tuscan cuisine is simple, fresh, and delicious. Depending on the season, we might pick grapes, olives, wild asparagus, wild herbs, or even hunt for prized white truffles in autumn.

Truffles are a seasonal delicacy but in this area we are very lucky, in spring we can find the Marzuolo or March truffle, in summer the Tartufo Nero Scorzone, a black Summer truffle, while in winter there are black winter truffles but also sometimes the famous " Bianco delle Crete Senesi", the highly prized white truffle. Outside our farm house we meet up with our expert truffle hunter and his wonderful dogs. To help you get the best of the companionship of the truffle hunter, a mine of information on truffles, the dogs, the woods and countryside and the local area in general you will be accompanied by an English speaking interpreter – generally an interpreter who also assists in the cooking classes and so able to give you tips on storing and using the truffles in the kitchen.
