Espiritu Santo Island is an incredible paradise that you will never forget! The experience of swimming with sea lions is very nice, they are playful and they usually come close to interact with the swimmers. (During the months of June, July, and August, swimming with sea lions in their rookery is not allowed, so we just see them from the boat and snorkel and/or hike at another site of the island) We always try to take our clients to the beaches where there are less people, so that they get a unique experience with the feeling of adventure that we like so much. Finally, learning about the history of the ancient settlers, the fauna and flora of the area, the current lifestyle of the locals, and being accompanied by marine biologist guides will make your day a very enriching one. It can only be visited on boats with permits and certified guides.

By far the most popular tour in La Paz and it is AMAZING! Swim with Sea Lions, watch for whales or pods of dolpins, and Lunch on the most beautiful beach on the Island. Snorkel Los Islotes and the largest colony of California Sea Lions in the Sea of Cortez. (Sept-May) You will learn of the geology and history of the original inhabitants of the area. This UNESCO Site full of shallow blue bays lined with Mangroves in front of stunning mountain peaks is pure eye-candy. All groups are permitted 30 minutes with these playful and curious animals and it is the highlight of many clients. Time for Beach Lunch! 2 hrs on Ensenada Grande or similar location for fresh ceviche and sandwiches under shades and time to relax and take it all in. This is a FULL day activity. Spend the day exploring Espíritu Santo, a National Park and one of the most unique spots in Baja. We head out early to enjoy the calmest part of the day, avoid the crowds, and take our time at every stop. Led by people who care about nature and know the area well. From September to May, you can snorkel with wild sea lions. The rest of the year, we focus on other great spots for snorkeling. Throughout the day, we stay on the lookout for wildlife dolphins, mobula rays, turtles, and sometimes whales. You’ll visit a remote beach with clear water to spend a cpuple hours, cruise past bird colonies and dramatic rock formations, and spend a couple of hours on a beach for lunch and free time. This tour takes you to espiritu santo island a natural wonder about 20 nautical miles from La Paz. There you will encouter with 2 sea lions colonies and and pristine beaches where you can snorkel and see the full of life Sea of Cortez. PD: Some times if the weather gets too windy and the sea too choppy. the capitan may descide not to go all the way to the island for safety reasons- This does not happen too often but it can happen

We offer private trips so you can have a great time with your family and/or friends. Since your group will be the only one in the boat we can spend more time doing the activities of your choice, we can personalize your food, equipment and special requirements. Our boats are nice and confortable, in super good shape. Our crew members are mainly marine biologists to make your trip more knowledgeable.

This is considered a reduced shared tour since we take maximum 12 people per boat. Most of the shared tours in the city take between 15-30 people per boat. Both our captains are guides are certified and very well experienced to give you an amazing experience. Our guides are marine biologists and speak perfect Spanish and English. They will have a gopro with them to take some footage of the tour that later we can share with you at no extra cost. All we care is that you have a great experience and that you will be happy, so communication is essential to arrange your tour. Important update: since January 29th the whale shark season has been suspended temporarily because of lower temperatures in La Paz bay have caused the whale sharks to leave the bay and look for food further from here. We expect them to return soon but we are not sure when will that happen. We have closed the availabilities for February in the meantime, and kept March and April open to book, but please keep in mind this information in order to plan your trip accordingly.
