Your host is an acknowledged wine expert and wine tour guide with 30 years experience and an in depth knowledge of wine and wine making across the world. The tasting takes place in the comfort of our wine cave in the heart of Carcassonne old town and is designed to be fun and informal.

All our vines are raised in biodynamic agriculture and our wines vinified with a minimum of inputs. A tasting at the foot of the Vosges hills, near the vineyards and in a unique place.

Urban Bikery wants to pay tribute to the prestigious territory in which it has its headquarters by organizing a 100% eco-sustainable wine tour in an innovative way. We will go to the discovery of the best Rosso and Nobile di Montepulciano cellars directly by ebike. Among our partners: Boscarelli, Canneto, Molinaccio, Salcheto, … we will book, based on availability, two wineries among those selected for a visit with tasting. The arrival in the showroom is scheduled for 10.30 but the time could be different based on the availability of the cellars or the customer's needs. Discover the unique history of the Château du Petit Thouars, a family-owned castle built in 1423 by the Dukes of Thouars. Owned by the Aubert du Petit Thouars family since 1636, the castle has been passed from father-to-son in a direct line, with a vineyard in existence on the property for hundreds of years. Visitors will visit Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc vines and learn about vineyard practices in the Chinon appellation. A leisurely stroll will take you to our troglodyte caves where our wines are vinified and aged on-site. You will be walked through French wine vinification practices. Returning to the château you will taste our range of wines, paired with delicious local specialties.

This tour takes us in two of the most charismatic and respected winemakers in Bosnia&Herzegovina, both based in the picturesque wine country of Mostar. Emporia winery in its sensational wine tasting cellars, which are based in the picturesque southern Mostar Valley , and their exceptional use of indigenous grapes as well as international varieties is a wonderful journey of discovery. Much smaller in production, but far more experimental with his unique organic wines made exclusively from indigenous grapes from Herzegovina, Josip Brkić candlelit tasting experience in his family wine cellar could not be more intimate. Add to that a selection of his excellent flavoured olive oils, and here is the perfect introduction to the fruits of Herzegovina, expertly handled.  We have carefully created this tour to showcase the incredible beauty of the Mostar area and to introduce you to the best products that the Herzegovina has to offer.
