On this tour with our Gravel Bottecchia bikes you will ride among the wonderful dirt roads around Bolgheri. The tour is quite simple and affordable for everyone with a few slight climbs. You will visit the wonderful wine road that leads from Donoratico to Bolgheri and then take the dirt roads of the Macchia della Magona and return to Castagneto Carducci along the Bolgheri Road surrounded by the wonderful Tuscan countryside and the mythical vines!

The Tuscan countryside by Ebike has a whole other charm. Join our E-bike tour along the Strada Bolgherese with a 30 min stop in the famous medieval village of Bolgheri. You will cycle in the enchanting Viale dei Cipressi mentioned in the poem of the writer Giosuè Carducci and visit the medieval village with the magnificent Tuscan countryside and the sea as a backdrop. The tour is very simple and with fabulous views open to all types of cyclists and all types of bikes (about 15 km outward and 15 km back). At the end if you wish you can have a wine tasting at the Enoteca located opposite our shop. The price ranges from € 50 per person for a group of 8 people up to € 200 for a single cyclist. The more you are the more the price decreases.

Family and friends are welcome to enjoy a Fiorentina Steak paired with several vintage-reserve wines of Tenuta Torciano Winery, included Super Tuscans reserves, Montalcino, Montepulciano ect. You will then go to the more prestigious wines, together with some lasagna with meat sauce and truffle oil, or some Tuscan Ribollita soup. I am Simone Vergamini, "Best Sommelier of Tuscany 2023, 3rd place at the Best Sommelier of Italy 2018, 2021 and 2022. We can organize the tasting directly at your home or at the hotel where you are on holiday The experience always includes an introduction to wine tasting, the history of the territory and wineries. We will then move on to wine tasting accompanied by bread, cheese, cold cuts and oil from local production. These are wines selected from small producers, mainly organic certified, in love with their work and the territory. At the end of the tasting you can take the bottles home or to the hotel so you can enjoy them during the holiday.

Today we will spend a day in one of the most famous Wine Regions in the World, the Bolgheri DOC where excellent wines are produced. Today we will visit 2 wineries we selected for you (top wineries) and we will stop for lunch in the village of Bolgheri (or one of the wonderful restaurants in the surroundings of Bolgheri). Challenging 70 km loop tour through the main Tuscan villages, to do with Road Bike / Gravel that you will take in our shop in Via Aurelia 25 in Donoratico (LI) which is a fraction of the Municipality of Castagneto Carducci. ON REQUEST THE TOUR CAN BE SHORTER AND CARRIED OUT WITH ELECTRIC BIKES / EBIKES. You leave from the shop and return here. And if you want, at the end of the excursion, you can participate in a tasting of the fabulous wines of Bolgheri in the wine shop in front of the shop (cost not included in the tour price). We will cycle immersed in the wonderful Tuscan countryside through medieval villages and visit Bolgheri, the town where the great poet Giosuè Carducci lived and its avenue of cypresses mentioned in his poem "San Guido".
