Our Tuscany Bike Tours take place in the heart of the Chianti Colli Fiorentini area. All our participants are supplied and fitted with bikes and safety helmets. Our guide will tend to your every need. Before taking to the bike there will be a bicycle orientation and tour safety talk. The ride is breathtaking; we will enjoy the spectacular rolling hills passing by vineyards, old castles, villas and olive groves. In addition to the ride we offer a wine and extra virgin olive oil tasting and a traditional Tuscan lunch. The total distance covered on the bikes is 24km (13 miles).

VISIT THE WALLS AND TASTE WINES AMONG VINEYARDS AND OLIVE GROVES The e-bike tour begins with an introdution to the city by our friendly guide and a visit to the walls of Lucca, over 4 km of cycle path all around the historic center. From this elevated position above the city, you will have a view of the symbolic monuments of Lucca and you will have time to become familiar with the e-bike. After a taste of Lucca the guide will easily lead you outside the walls, entering the surrounding countryside, among charming villages and family farms. The e-bike will allow you to face a few short climbs effortlessly and our expert guide will help you understand the complexity of the "vineyard" ecosystem and its low environmental impact agriculture. The visit will continue in the cellar and in the vineyards with the wine tasting combined with typical local products such as bruschetta, meats, cheeses and olive oil.

Leave Siena behind and hike part of Via Francigena, an ancient pilgrimage route through rural Tuscany, followed by a wine tasting in the village of Monteriggioni. Embark on a 5-mile (8-km) trek that passes through the heart of the Tuscan countryside, past picturesque castles, villages, vineyards and ruins. Once you reach the medieval walled village of Monteriggioni, reward yourself during a wine tasting session, where you will sip on 3-4 different local, organic wines. Return to Siena at your own leisure by bus (bus tickets provided).

Depart from Rome in a comfortable, air-conditioned bus in the early morning, enjoying scenic views of the Italian countryside. After a 20-minute drive, we’ll reach Sieci, a charming town along the Arno River, the start of our E-Bike Tour. After receiving your E-Bike and meeting our guide Pietro, we’ll cycle for 16 miles (27 km) on scenic, quiet roads through the stunning Tuscan hills. Thanks to the electric bikes, you can easily enjoy the landscape without strain. The tour ends at Tenuta Bossi, a historic winery owned by the Gondi family since 1592, in the Chianti Rufina area. We’ll visit the cellars, enjoy a wine tasting, and a light lunch. Then, we'll return to Sieci for your transfer back to Florence!
